TUNNEL

For a safe and smooth passage between the indoor and outdoor aviary, it is necessary in some specific cases, to join both aviaries with a tunnel.

After a personal visit we design a suitable tunnel for yout pet or pets. As seen in the pictures below, we choose a denser mesh of wire netting to ensure the strength of the tunnel. The most common option is the tunnel being suspended on a pulley,its manipulation is simple and doesn´t require much strength.

Depending on the type of parrot, we build steps in the construction fo the tunnel to help it to negotiate the height between indidivual aviaries. For the parrots comfort and to stop it from slipping on stainless steel steps, we place a wooden surface on them if desired.

This tunnel can also be opened from the side, therefore a parrot doesn´t have to fly right from the aviary into another aviary but can fly directly into a room from where the tunnel is controlled. Double protection of this side opening is standard - both a mechanical and a manual lock.

The connecting tunnel is made od stainless steel including wire netting, frames and the bottom.
